I do not consider myself a Christmas person, do not get me wrong. When December comes I feel happy to enjoy fresh breeze that makes me think that in this island there is more than one season.. to see the faces of emotion that the kids in my family put when "Los Reyes Magos” or "Santa Claus" has brought them a present ... and above all I enjoy that family dinner in the December 24, That one, I would never miss!
The part of Christmas that I do not like, like in many other holidays is the business side and cold media bombarding us. That you must wear the best dress, you have to buy the latest hair products, do this, this and that.
Buuut, the truth is with the time I have learned to ignore these media campaigns and enjoy the essence of each celebration. Enjoy that cycle closes and another one begins. Planning happily the projects brings us this 2013 and laugh out loud at that adversity we left behind in 2012.
In terms of hair we must apply what we have learned this year –whatever it works for you of course-, follow our your trends and not trends imposed by others, defend your ethnicity, love yourself and a very important thing:
Know that what inhabits inside our heads is always more important than what it adornes it.
Have a super detangled 2013!!
Xoxo
